Starvation Diets Can Be Bad For You

May 4th, 2010

The term xtreme fat loss diet are diets which claims fast fat loss within just a couple of days with bare minimum effort other than to stick out with the diet program.

There are many of these currently being flooded in to the marketplace each month, always well marketed sometimes well endorsed and fatally annoying.

Simply put, fad diets are always starvation diets and for that reason unrealistic. It fails in this way. Fad diets tend to be meals that one has to put up with.

On top of that, a person on the fad diet is told to eat a smaller amount of course, if the fad diet plan comes with an exercise program, to work more. The one saving value is that it’s low on fat as well as usually low on sodium however so is water.

These, consequently, require preparation. Every preparation however tastes unappealing bordering on unpalatability. These fat loss tips may sometimes come together by having an exercise program.

However if one is to observe carefully, initial weight loss happens this way. A body that perspire losses water and water is heavy. When the dieter checks the weight after the exercise, there is truly a weight loss.

But drink water and the body starts back to the original weight. The water then that was lost during the exercise will only equal to the weight that was lost on perspiration.

The impression however will be different. Our bodies then begins to slowly react to the starvation diet losing water within the cells which then translate to weight loss. As you carry on the starvation diet plan, your body will begin feeding at the muscle and for that reason you shed pounds.

Because you are avoiding the eating of fat, which the body by the way also needs, the tendency of the body is to maintain all the fat that’s in store. It will go on for a time say 15 days depending on your metabolism.

Now, when the body has burnt most of the energy within the muscle, the person starts to get weak.

The reason behind this is that it is already starting to burn the fats that are stored in the body and which the body has tried much to conserve. The irony is, fats do not burn easy.

Unlike other energy foods that the body is used burning to provide the energy to stay alive, burning the fat will in itself take additional time to deliver the energy needed and then anyone on a fad diet starts being phlegmatic in movement.

Performance will be poor, activity will slow, and even the exercises will take a lot more effort that, after a while, is dropped also.

Obviously, the point in going on a rapid fat loss diet is usually to be healthier, let alone fit. A fad diet works to the contrary.

The weight loss effects are immediate; it always is because it has to be, but the desired effect and the ideals when the dieter started with is not.

True enough when weight loss happens emaciation can occour, if the person will last that long, but a shortage of energy and other detrimental symptoms does too. For many people, realization sets in fast.

The body that has been crying out for the nutrition to keep it functioning will ultimately be heeded and the fad diet forgotten. As that happens, the person will start to eat and restore all that which was lost during the time that the body was being starved. What is more is the fact that it generally doesn’t finish there.

The craving for food which was suppressed tend to be overpowering that fat in fact starts gaining even more.
