Setting Up Your Families Home Theater For Best Visual and Hearing Effect - Really Get Into The Show With The Perfect Wire

December 27th, 2008

If you replace your standard TV speakers with a unique and stand-alone speaker system, it can result in a total change in the sound quality giving you a much improved audio experience. If you will only be watching soaps on it you may not care so much, but anyone that watches films, DVD’s, blu-ray and even gamers should consider it as an option. TVs also have speakers built-in that are of good quality but nothing comes near a full surround sound system in terms of audio quality. Many people that buy a HD Television do so after being suitably impressed by one their neighbor’s or close friend’s has demonstrated theirs.

Don’t rush out to your local store for an HD television until you aware of how much you can comfortably spend and just exactly you want it for! If you are going to be buying - or already have - surround sound speakers, as a general rule of thumb, 10 percent of the TV’s cost should be spent on speaker cabling. You will most likely need an amp, or av receiver also to control the external speakers. This is also an extra cost from several hundred upwards into the thousands but warrants another article altogether.

When buying and installing speakers you need to look at around five speakers to each sub-woofer that is fitted. Most speaker systems are configured so there are two rear speakers, left and right plus a central speaker. While each of these are independent but their positioning have to done in such a way that the seating place is in the center. Usually the av receivers/amplifiers can be suitably configured for the right volume output and the speakers positioned accordingly.

The sub-woofer basically creates the “oomph” in a movie so having a capable sub-woofer will enhance your movie enjoyment greatly. It can lend life to sound and we all know this when we watch movies in cinema halls. In addition, since the deep-bass frequencies reproduced by the sub-woofers are non-directional (as frequencies that are at or below the threshold of hearing). It is impossible to detect from which direction the sound is coming, so the sound of an earthquake feels as if it is happening all around us.

Find copper wire cables that you can use including silver copper wire cables and magnetic copper wire cable.

While the position of the sub woofer is just about anywhere in the room but to get optimum output, you have to consider the size of the room, the type of flooring it has, the furnishing fabrics and the construction of the wall. Typically, best placement for a sub-woofer is in the front of the room, just to the left or right of the main speakers. Used speakers cost far less of course. There are many systems available and it will depend on your budget in the end but look out for a set of Canton movie CD-1 (now referred to as CD-101) which offer excellent value for money.
